In one of these international friendlies from the FIFA, Germany visited Italy in the Giuseppe Meazza stadium. Both teams showed little of the power they have now a day, and in general it was not a great game. The first half was really exciting compared with what happened in the second half. By the hand of Mats Hummels Germany was on the lead at minute 8', but it did not last long with Ignazio Abate's great goal at minute 28'. In the second half there was too little game, both countries wsted too many opportunities that could have changed the things.
Germany will have time to rest today in Milan then fly to England in the next few days to face them in their great home Wembley. Meanwhile Italy will travel too to England to face the Green Eagles of Nigeria in Crave Cottage stadium, both of these countries preparing for the World Cup next year in Brazil.
